Windows 7 Release Candidate Review
20 May
So as everyone knows, Microsoft has released a release candidate/beta of the new Windows 7. Windows 7 is suppose to be filling in for the things that Vista absolutely destroys. My views on Microsoft and Windows Vista are very bad, as many of you know.
I have tried Windows 7 (the reason at which isn’t impressive but for Microsoft, they are on a “somewhat good track”). Windows 7 RC at the moment isn’t visually stunning, I’d rather they just keep the Vista look at be done with it. All us geeks want are the background updates, a new look isn’t that great for me. Since they have a very ugly dull theme right now.
I came about to testing Windows 7 when I was asked to fix some one’s computer that was running Windows 7. So like I said not all that impressive that I had to fix it. Mainly there were network issues, and some issues with clicking icons, it would pull up Command Prompt.
Overall It’s a good track Microsoft is on, and I look forward to seeing what else they do in the final release.
(Note: I wrote this in about 5 minutes, didn’t edit it either. So don’t yell at me if it makes no sense.. Im in a hurry :P )
